M'aiq the Liar can be encountered close by Plantation Point Overlook or north of the Fort Zeren Wayshrine, outside of Fort Zeren.

Quest Giver: Captain Rana

1. Captain Rana wants you to ensure the fires are lit in the nearby watchtower so you can warn Davon's Watch, the port in Stonefall.
2. Go to the watchtower and read the journal to find out the signal fire isn't even ready to be lit, so proceed to Fort Zeren.
3. Quartermaster Urona at Fort Zeren sends you to get kindlepitch powder from the Bal Foyen docks to light the signal fires.
4. Quartermaster Lineem at the Bal Foyen docks gives you the kindlepitch powder.
5. Lineem leads you across the bridge to a secret passage to the signal fires. Light the east and west signal fires.
6. Return to Dhalmora where Aera Earth-Turner tells you her whole family is gone.

Quest Giver: Aera Earth-Turner

1. Talk to Aera Earth-Turner. She tells you the Covenant is attacking.
2. Choose to either help Darj the Hunter at Fort Zeren OR Captain Rana at Bal Foyen Dockyards.

Recommended Level: 6 | Reward: 49 Gold

This quest will begin if you choose to help Captain Rana at Bal Foyen Dockyards.

1. An Argonian named Eleven-Skips tells you that Covenant troops have trapped fishermen in the windmill.
2. Free the fishermen, then speak with Asga to learn about the battle going on at the docks.
3. Find and defend Sergeant Seyne and Trynhild Earth-Turner.
4. Find Captain Rana and talk to her.
5. Enter the ship, proceed to below decks to find the Covenant Commander. Kill General Vette and leave the ship.
6. Talk to Centurion Mobareed for your reward.

Recommended Level: 6 | Rewards: 98 Gold, General Vette's Greatsword (Two Handed Sword, Decrease Health Enchantment, Defending)

This quest will begin if you choose to help Darj the Hunter at Fort Zeren.

1. Talk to Darj the Hunter at Fort Zeren.
2. Close five reinforcement portals around the fort.
3. Find and defend Denskar and Littrek Earth-Turner.
4. Talk to Aera Earth-Turner.
5. Enter Fort Zeren Manor; close the Master Portal.
6. Kill the Covenant Commander, General Emax, then talk to Darj the Hunter.

Recommended Level: 6 | Rewards: 98 Gold, General Emax's Staff (Two Hand Healing Staff, Fiery Weapon Enchantment, Charged)

Quest Giver: Centurion Mobareed or Darj the Hunter

1. Report to Holgunn in Davon's Watch about the Covenant attack.

Quest Giver: Esqoo in Dhalmora

1. An Argonian named Esqoo lost most of his guar herd. He wants you to collect the missing ones.
2. Find Corkie, Rollie, Pale-Hide, and send them to home.

Recommended Level: 6 | Reward: 24 Gold

Quest Giver: Nolu-Azza, Wenaxi, Vudeelal or Batuus in Dhalmora Fields

1. The Covenant sent an advance force into Bal Foyen. They're destroying the fields behind Dhalmora.
2. Find Nolu-Azza, Batuus, Wenaxi, and Vudeelal. Talk to the survivors.

Quest Giver: Bishalus at Bal Foyen Dockyards

1. Bishalus is afraid that nix-hounds devoured her friend, Gena. She claimed to have made a flute that could tame the beasts...
2. Find Gena Omarys.
3. Kill the Rabid Nix-Hound, then talk to Bishalus.

Quest Giver: Iron-Claws near Fort Zeren

1. Iron-Claws thinks he's found a way to use the otherwise docile netch against the Daggerfall Covenant.
2. Throw treated netch eggs at the Covenant soldiers to test Iron-Claws' theory.
